My Thoughts
I really liked the book and found myself engaged from start to finish while reading it. Hinkens has a special gift for grasping the reader’s attention right from the introduction of the books, and she did so again with this one. The writing was smooth, and I found myself engrossing in the story and quickly flipping to the next page to learn what would happen next. The book’s pacing was just right; I was holding my breath through most of the book.
