I ate this up. From the first page, it had me locked in, and I could not put it down. The secret society vibe, the danger, the power plays, and that constant feeling that everything could spiral at any second made this so addictive.

Laurel was such a strong heroine, and I loved that she refused to roll over, even when the odds were completely stacked against her. She had fight, heart, and just enough defiance to make every scene hit harder. And Carrson? Cold, intense, and absolutely impossible to ignore. The tension between them was sharp, messy, and magnetic in the best way.

What really got me was how dark and consuming the whole world felt. The Order was brutal, twisted, and so easy to get lost in, and the bond between Laurel and Carrson added this intense emotional pull that made everything even more gripping. If you love secret societies, dangerous obsession, high stakes, and a romance wrapped in power and chaos, this one is such a binge-worthy read. I need Book Two like yesterday, Lexi!
