The Christmas Reading Challenge is hosted by Jodie @ That Happy Reader. Since many publishers release their holiday stories in September and October, the challenge starts on September 1, 2023, and runs through December 31, 2023.

My goal is to read 6.

How it Works

  • Just choose 20, 15, 10, or even 5 books that you’d like to read (and hopefully review). They do not have to be Christmas-themed.
  • Make a quick introductory post of what you plan to read. You may use the image the host created for her challenge, the one above, or one of your own.
  • Link back to the host and comment.
  • Want to swap a book? Go for it.
  • Fancy changing your list halfway through? No problem.
  • Deciding to drop your goal from 15 to 10 (or even 5)? That works.
  • Would you rather start in October or November? That works, too!

This challenge is intended to be very relaxed:

  • Want to swap a book? Go for it.
  • Fancy changing your list halfway through? No problem.
  • Deciding to drop your goal from 15 to 10 (or even 5)? I am fine with that.
  • Would you rather start in October or November? I’m fine with that too!

This is my list as of today (this may change), but I would like to read the following books for this challenge. Some of mine are older, so most of you have probably already read them. Can you tell I do not read many Christmas books? I am more of the watching the Hallmark channel at Christmas type of old lady, lol!
