Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s theme is ~ Bookish Goals for 2025 (How many books do you want to read this year? Are you hoping to read outside your comfort zone? Are there books you meant to read last year but never got to? Are there new-to-you authors you’re hoping to read).
My 2025 Goals
1. Read 100 books this year
I don’t think I will have a problem with this since I have quite a few ARCS I signed up for so far this year and hell it’s only January.
2. Listen to more audiobooks
My list of audiobooks is not that big, but I joined the audiobook challenge this year, and I would like to listen to 5 this year for that challenge.
3. Stop signing up for so many ARC reviews
What I mean by this is I want to start reading more from my own bookshelves and my Kindle.
4. Read more from my bookshelves
I keep buying all these books and I am not reading them, did anyone say addiction?
5. Read more books that are on my Kindle
I am not even sure why I have a Kindle; I would instead read a physical copy of a book. There is nothing like that new book smell.
6. Start using my reading journal
I want to start using my journal, but it’s just crazy. I open that thing up, and my mind goes blank. All tips accepted on where I start!
7. Take more notes, ah ha, for my journal
I need to start taking more notes for the reviews I am going to write
8. Stop giving books a higher rating than they deserve
I was never like this years ago, I mean if I didn’t like it, I was very outgoing about it. I guess as I have gotten older, I got softer, lol!
9. Don’t get obsessed with statistics for my blog
I am constantly worried about this; I am sick of it. This year I am just going to blog and the hell with all the stress I put on myself for people to like my blog!
10. Enjoy life
I will start enjoying my life instead of being chained to my blog or social media.
