Eyes on Her is a thriller with various levels and suspenseful romance. The two main characters, Cally and Laurie, are both well-fleshed out. Their traumatic pasts make them believable as leading ladies of any era, while their longing for a genuine relationship gives them warmth. The clashing of determination to start afresh in Cally and Laurie’s unwavering support creates a compelling, heart-warming tension.
The story is fascinating, with suspense and mystery. The destruction of the glamping business establishes an ominous atmosphere that ensures constant suspense. Furthermore, Cally’s ex-lover, Jules, adds more mystery to the plot.
The sleepy town of Halesbrook, where the story is set, adds to the sense of isolation and heightens tension. The details about the forest and glamping business provide a unique stage setting for this story.
Overall, “Eyes on Her” is an exciting novel that will hold you entirely to the end. A combination of romance, suspense, and mystery with vividly drawn characters makes this a must-read for any fan of this genre.
