This meme is hosted by Marlene over at Reading Reality every Saturday. Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you add to your shelves, whether physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and, of course, eBooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks! In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.

This is a Facebook group that has become an informal week-in-review gathering place for bloggers. The Sunday Salon is a place to link up and share what we have been doing during the week. Plus, it’s a great way to visit other blogs and join conversations. You can also link up on Sundays on Readerbuzz.

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by

Life In General
This week I had a bit of an adventure. Where I used to live in the town over from me, they have a building they are shutting down that used to be for older folks with mental disorders and people who just could not take care of their selves. And it is sad to say people who just didn’t want to bother with taking care of their relatives. I guess some may call it a nursing home, but it was called Portage Manor. It was the most beautiful building (below) I have seen in that town. So, anyway on with my trip there. They were getting rid of all the items left behind from the original owners, dressers, tables, chairs, old books, decorations, anything that a building like this may have, just imagine. Three stories of stuff, I haven’t walked so much in years, literally. Anyway, we went there to see what they had, and my daughter got some very nice dressers for my grandkids. I found some beautiful bookcases, but they were already taken, darn it! So, how was your week? 😊
