My Thoughts
As soon as there is a new book by James, it’s a no-brainer that I am going to read it! I love her writing and she has never disappointed me. The Grandmother was another great book which also has a very unexpected twist. This is a family drama with secrets and lies, and the story is told from the points of view of Daisy and Alice’s grandmother, Yvonne and their father, Vince. I must confess that as a grand mother myself I was shocked by this story. Maybe I will not be able to be Yvonne, but maybe I will? Maybe I could!
