I read more books than the library refreshes. As a kid, I was trapped in a corner, reading books quietly while the whole world was going on. This type of acquired love of books, however, made me a very fast reader. I have reviewed ninety-seven books so far this year if this gives you an idea of how fast I can read.

I began the blog since it is a space for me to investigate what I read in my own words. I turned into more of a recluse, in fact, nearly completely avoiding all forms of social media and chose instead to concentrate on writing book reviews and my blog content. Being an introvert, chatting up with strangers you don’t know online has always been scary. My blog is where I can get to know other bookworms and chat with them without feeling weird.

My reader base and co-bloggers who interact with me on my book blogging site have been so rewarding. It feels wonderful when complete strangers react with pleasure when they see that I have reviewed a really popular novel that they read or when I share a list of books to read. Nevertheless, I do not have a lot of followers, but I created a small inner circle of book bloggers whom I have come to enjoy chatting with.

At times, I might do a giveaway or Q&A, but mostly, you will catch me sitting alone in front of my laptop with my latest book review or creating new content. The blogosphere can sometimes be quite grand and loud, but I’ve succeeded in creating a little private nook for myself.

Being an introverted book blogger, I can sustain my love for literature and reading in my own way whenever I have enough free time. I don’t have to resort to their flashy approach in order to make things interesting like some ‘Insta’ influencers do. My audience is partial to the marginal, intellectual matter of the books. The reason for this has been poorly elaborated. I might never reach super celebrity status with thousands of followers on all of my social media profiles or be one of the cool kids on TikTok like some of these influences. However, in all accuracy this is not similar to my task. I write because it is a matter of common interest with the big-eyed community that sometimes just needs to talk about their readings. That what is maybe a tiny blog to you, is my whole day’s story.

Convincing you to read Frat Row by Krista Turner Clark @kristareadsmore

If you like stories with high tension, betrayal, and a relentless fight to survive, you need to read this. It starts with glamour and belonging—then flips into something darker in seconds: secrets, coercion, and a narrator who refuses to stay defeated. The writing has that “one more page” pull, and the ending energy is pure resilience: I won’t let them break me.
