The story revolves around Detective Billie Ann Wilde who is working on a case of a suitcase that is containing a body of a woman which was seen ashore a Florida beach. On closer look, Wilde discovers that the baggage tag belongs to her best friend, Danni.
The case that Billie and her team are after is a chain of murder and missing person occurrences in book two. The more they scrape further, the more apparent it becomes that the flaws of her work are seeping into her private life, making her work her private life. However, given that Billie is determined to keep everything together at this time, the investigation becomes even more intricate. Excellent read. I highly recommend this series.
