The Throwback Thursday meme, was hosted by Renee@It’s Book Talk, it is a way to share some of your old favorites and books that you want to read that were published over a year ago. Susan over @Susan Loves Books does this meme every Thursday on her blog. So, I am joining the fun with her. Why not join the fun and leave your comment on her blog so she and everyone can visit your Throwback Thursday post? You can also link up with Davida @ The Chocolate Lady’s Book Review Blog for Throwback Thursday if you would like to.
Today, I am showcasing a book I read back on Halloween in 2023.
From Goodreads
Arianna Dubray is nothing like the girl she left in Baltimore. Once a Prada shoe wearing, Michael Kors bag carrying, on top of the world seventeen-year-old girl, Arianna knew that her life would never be the same when she got out of the car in middle-of-nowhere Montana. Canyon Michaels is the keeper of his own dark secrets. Plagued by his family name, he’s forced to prove the town wrong and make it on his own. The last thing Arianna needs is a reason to stay, but with every passing day the decision to leave becomes harder. Once their paths cross nothing can tear them apart, other than the secrets that start to surface and the nightmares that soon become their reality.
My Thoughts
I was hooked from the very first page until the last page. Why did Arianna have to leave everything she knew and loved behind. I had so many questions , and I could not stop until all of them were answered.
This is a wonderful story of love between two people who both have things to hide from their pasts. And when they finally come together the fireworks never end. Have you ever read a book that was so good that when you sit down to write your review, you do not even know where to begin? Well here I am and the honest truth is that this book was so good from the first page to the very last page, I don’t know how to even begin to tell you how absolutely wonderful this book truly is.
Poor Arianna had to grow up way to fast, and give up so much for an old boyfriend she thought she loved, ha! He is a joke and she soon learns that she never knew what love really was until she meant Canyon Michaels. Arianna was allot stronger then she thought she was, she always seen herself as weak until the end.
I actually could not put this book down, I found myself even dreaming about the things that happened that I had read throughout the book. I have never read a book by any Author that had captivated me from the first page throughout the whole book. This book never stops keeping your attention. I am not going to give anything away here, but I am going to tell you that every review you read about this book is the absolute truth, it is captivating, and you will not be sorry for picking it up to read, trust me.
This is my first book I have read by Barbara and it will not be my last one that is for sure. Do yourself a favor and pick this book up, but just make sure you have plenty of time on your hands when you do, your going to fall in love with this book.
