Join in the Top Ten Tuesday fun! Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s theme is Bookish Superpowers I Wish I Had (e.g. never accidentally buying the same book twice, every book I buy would be automatically signed/personally dedicated by the author, the ability to read faster, etc.) Wow, I had to sit and think on this one. I know there are a lot but I had a brain fart 😂
- 1) I would love to be able to speed-read. I can read fast but not that fast!
- 2) Do Not buy the same book I already have, just know by memory
- 3) I would love to be able to transport myself to the specific location of the book I am reading
- 4) Money automatically appears in my hands in a bookstore
- 5) Never have a reading slump
- 6) Just think of a book I want to read and it appears
- 7) Have a photographic memory
- 8) While I am reading the book, actually live in the book
- 9) I want the ability to choose a book by automatically knowing I am going to love it
- 10) Sit and have coffee with the author and characters of that book in the setting of that book
